I’m an Organizational Psychologist and traditionally a hobbyist IRL photographer. But then I started doing virtual photography in Microsoft Flight Simulator… and quickly fell in love with the visual possibilities in other games.

The collection has grown into a curated, high-resolution collection of spatial studies, lighting experiments, and environmental photography — across many game worlds, not just skies.

Every image here is free to view and download, and each ZIP is filled with files meticulously named, with thematic tags, and deeply organized for anyone who loves game design, visual storytelling, or simply beautiful digital spaces.

Whether you’re a developer, a fellow photographer, or a curious wanderer — welcome.

Photographer’s Statement On Method

My work isn’t about creativity or narrative… it’s about recognition. I’m not the creator, I’m the lens that sees when the design aligns. Whether in-game or in the real world, I photograph spaces when they resolve into balanced congruence — when light, form, and silence converge so completely that nothing can be added, nor removed. It’s not a moment of expression — it’s a moment of resolution. This isn’t imaginative — it’s mathematical. What emerges isn’t just an image — it’s a distilled reflection of the world itself. That moment – of reflection, of harmonic visual resonance – is the fine point… the kind a connoisseur might recognize in a well-aged wine.

BULK

DOWNLOAD

MSFS BULK DOWNLOADS: There are many more photographs in the ZIP files (~4,000 photos), than on this site. The older pictures are HD 1920×1080 — all pictures taken since August 12th 2023, are shot in 4K 3840×2160. The image viewer on this site doesn’t provide 4K, nor Fullscreen viewing; if you’d like the uncompressed full versions (to enjoy, use as desktop backgrounds, screensavers, etc.) — you can download the hi-rez ZIP files of all the aerial drone photography. All files are named and sorted by date. More will be added, so be sure to check back.

All the picture files were renamed, and all the zips reuploaded as of 3/7/2024. The following keyword tags have been embedded in the filenames for searchability:

  • Aircraft Name – All files have the name of the aircraft
  • Best – The “Best Of” shots
  • Detail – The “Best Of” the Best
  • Curate – The “Best Of” the Detail. These are the pics in “20200000-20200000 4K Curated Fun Pack Mix!” below
  • Interior – Aircraft’s interior is visible
  • Moon – The moon makes an appearance
  • Rainbow – A rainbow is visible

FLIGHT

SIMULATOR

The MSFS (Microsoft Flight Simulator “Game”) allows you to see the entire earth! Fly a jet, a stunt plane, or choose from a large selection of other aircraft — each looks and controls just like the real thing. Control the date, the time, the weather — use real data from weather history —  or go 100% live with real time and weather.

DRONE

CAMERA

Then there’s the drone camera. Though MSFS includes several different cameras, the Drone Camera allows you to control zoom, angle, speed, position, depth of field, and more! Whether flying at 30,000 feet or 800 feet, you can pop out your drone camera and get amazing pictures in the air.

-Coordinates-

Latitude

Longitude

Russia Krasnoyarsk Krai Flight Simulator Map

As you look through each series, you’ll notice that each location’s Latitude and Longitude are listed…

How to Fly There
1) Method One – At beginning of the game: World Map > Paste Coordinates into “SEARCH” Box
2) Method Two – While in flight: Options > General Options > Developers > Developer Mode “ON” (this adds a menu bar at the top of the screen) > Windows (menu bar at the top) > Teleport Window > Paste Latitude & Longitude into the two queries

How to Obtain Coordinates
1) Method One – The easiest way is to use this tool: https://www.latlong.net/ Unfortunately, it’s a very limited database and is primarily useful for addresses or cities
2) Method Two –  Find the place you’re looking for in Google Maps, right click the map, and click on the coordinate (it will be automatically copied to your clipboard)
